Tap into $200m to build better towns

By Riverine Herald

COMMUNITIES across Farrer are being invited to apply for a share in $200 million under the third round of the Australian Government’s Building Better Regions Fund.

Local MP Sussan Ley said applications are now open for up to $10 million in funding for either infrastructure or community projects which can provide new economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas.

“A component of this round ($45m) has been reserved for tourism-related infrastructure projects which can help draw more visitors to our region adding further important economic benefits,’’ she said.

Applications for BBRF Round 3 open today and close on November 15 with full details available at business.gov.au/assistance/building-better-regions-fund
