THE mother accused of murdering her five-year-old son in Moama last year has pleaded not guilty.
The 26-year-old Deniliquin woman, who is in custody at Silverwater Correctional Complex, appeared via audio-link for an arraignment in Sydney Supreme Court this morning.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges of murder by drowning and the attempted drowning of her nine-year-old son at Moama on March 2, 2017.
It is understood she is pleading not guilty due to mental impairment.
A trial has been set for November 19 for one week.
It will be a judge-alone trial.
