ACROSS the Southern Basin of the Murray-Darling we have lacked strong and effective representation.
We need clear messages taken to Canberra about the social and environmental damage from the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.
On Friday, April 13 a public water forum will be held at Moama Bowling Club, titled Uniting the Southern Basin.
I believe it presents us with an opportunity to come together and support stronger and more effective representation of our region’s needs, both in relation to the basin plan and other important issues.
I would encourage you to attend and support efforts to tell politicians that we will not sit back and allow a flawed basin plan to destroy our communities.
