A boat and trailer were stolen from Ogilvie Ave this week.

Stolen boat, trailer

POLICE are appealing for help into the theft of a ski boat and trailer from Echuca (pictured right) on Wednesday.

Investigators believe the boat and trailer were stolen in Ogilvie Ave between 3.30pm and 7.20pm.

Both were on a vacant block next to the train line where it had been offered for sale.

The trailer was secured with a chain which appears to have been cut and the trailer towed away.

Police are appealing to anyone who might have seen a person or vehicle acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the theft to come forward.

Brazen theft

THOUSANDS of dollars were stolen from a boat in Moama last week.

Thieves entered a caravan park and removed the cover off a boat between 10.30pm last Thursday and 8am last Friday.

A black backpack, Maveric Pro Drone, Go Pro Hero 3 and Talen men’s bicycle were stolen.

It is believed two men who were approached in the park about 1am by some guests committed the theft.

They are described as being about 175cm tall, dressed in black hoodies and dark pants.

Help police solve this crime

ECHUCA police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a theft in Darling St.

Two 2.4m by 1.2m aluminium picket-style fence panels were stolen from the front boundary fence of the property between 9.45pm on Thursday and 8am Friday.

The elderly victims are upset by the theft and police are appealing for help to solve the crime.
