Almost $3000 worth of tools stolen

POLICE are appealing for information into the theft of more than $2800 worth of tools and equipment from a Mathoura property.

POLICE are appealing for information into the theft of more than $2800 worth of tools and equipment from a Mathoura property.

Thieves broke into a shed at a Morris St property between noon on January 28 and 11am on Saturday by removing tin from the shed walls.

They have stolen a mower, whipper snipper, wheelbarrow and other assorted tools and garden tools.

Police are investigating and urging people with information to contact Mathoura or Moama police or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
