THE Echuca man arrested in the Task Force Echo drug raid last month has faced court over driving offences.
Jason Garner, 32, appeared via videolink in Echuca Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with several counts of driving while suspended, improper use of a motor vehicle and careless driving.
They relate to incidents in January, March and August this year.
A letter from Garner’s solicitor, Peter Ward, requested his matters be adjourned for a consolidated plea of guilty on November 23 at Melbourne Magistrates Court.
Magistrate Bruce Cottrill further remanded Garner in custody until that date.
Garner is also due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on November 6 over the drug matters stemming from the early-morning raid in Echuca on August 12.
The raid — one of a series across Echuca, Shepparton and Melbourne — targeted people with alleged links to outlaw motorcycle gang the Mongols.
Garner is charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs, possessing a drug of dependence and possessing proceeds of crime.
